ATLANTA, Ga. The SAA announced the 2014 Men s Track & Field All-Conference award winners and, after voting conducted by the league s head coaches, Jeremy Phillips of Rhodes and Hank Ballard of Birmingham-Southern claimed the top prizes of Men s Track Athlete of the Year and Men s Field Athlete of the Year, respectively. Chris Roberts of Birmingham-Southern won Newcomer of the Year status while Rhodes head coach Robert Shankman received the Coach of the Year honor from his peers.
