A former head coach and standout runner, Edwin Hagans brings a wealth of collegiate track and cross country experience to Centre upon being named as the Colonels' new assistant coach this week.

Both of Centre's track and field teams were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association when the organization released its All-Academic Teams on Wednesday.

After five successful seasons as an assistant coach for men's and women's cross country and track and field at Centre, Dan Graber has accepted a head coaching position at Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.

Senior Michael Bozarth (Mt. Washington, Ky.) of the Centre men's track and field team has been named the 2013 Men's Field Athlete of the Year by the Southern Athletic Association.

The Centre men’s track and field team headed to Sewanee, Tenn. to compete in the inaugural SAA Championships. The Colonels scored 187 points and finished second to Rhodes in a close battle.

The Centre men’s track and field team had its final meet before the SAA Championships, hosting the Centre Twilight. The Colonels scored 153 points and finished in second.

The Centre men's track and field team competed in the Cumberlands Invitational in Williamsburg, Ky. The team finished in fifth and the meet was highlighted by an over 30-year-old school record falling in the hurdles.

Senior Marc Speed (Louisville, Ky.) of the Centre men's track and field team has been named the SAA Field Athlete of the Week for meets through April 7th.
