The Centre women s cross country team had its inaugural home meet this morning with the Centre Invitational. The Colonels won their home opener, beating out four other opponents.

After five successful seasons as an assistant coach for men's and women's cross country and track and field at Centre, Dan Graber has accepted a head coaching position at Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.
Three Centre women's cross country runners have been named Academic All-Americans by the USTFCCCA for the 2012 campaign. The women's cross country team also received All-Academic status for the season.

The Centre women’s cross country team, in action for the first time in three weeks, competed in the Greater Louisville Classic, hosted by the University of Louisville. Competing against teams from every division, the Colonels finished in 27th place.
